Coffee Break - Woothemes

Coffee Break is a professional theme built specifically to showcase your business, services or products. Heavily influenced by our recent WooThemes re-design, and packed full of loads of in-built theme options, you have complete control over what pages display on the home page, whilst the blog posts and categories are bundled neatly in the latest news section of the site.

Unique Features

These are some of the more unique features that you will find within the theme:

  • A home page featured slider showcasing specific pages that have been enabled in the backend theme option’s panel
  • “Mini features” section available on the home page to present the website visitor with a list of services or benefits of your company/product. Again the pages listed here are specified in the backend theme option’s panel
  • Coffee Break has been localized and includes a .po file for easy translations to be made of the theme
  • A completely widgetized sidebar with 7 custom widgets included in the theme packaging. No third party widgets required; and
  • 17 amazing colour schemes to choose from!

Standard Features

These features are probably just as special as the one’s above, but you’ll find these standard features within most of our wide range of themes:

  • Integrated Theme Options (for WordPress) to tweak the layout, colour scheme etc. for the theme;
  • Threaded Comments for WordPress 2.7+;
  • Custom Page Templates for Archives, Full Width Page, & Sitemap;
  • Built-in Gravatar Support for Comments; and

  7. Hi

    First of all, thanks for upload.

    I'm also looking for the documentation.

    To set up the slider is quite easy. You create new pages, and exclude them from the main navigation under the main Coffee Break slider settings. To display them you need to take the 'page id' which consists of two numbers, in the page's URL.

    What is really killing me though is how on earth to display the call to action buttons in the slider i.e. 'Take Tour' 'Purchase Now' 'Free Quote' text on a lovely gray rounded rectangular button, as on the demo.

    I presume I can only find out how to do this properly with the documentation so can someone PLEASE get hold of it ASAP and post it here.

    I also really need the latest developer version of this with the .PSD (I say latest because with the 7th update the dodgy ugly drop down navigation have finally started to resemble a pro theme in rest of the design, and not a college project.

    I also need the developer version of The Station (with .PSD) and documentation.

    Many thanks, I'll be watching this thread.

  9. What up, I stopped by this post as I was trying to figure out the same thing as you guys. I am pretty good with code and design and I eventually figured it out.. So, if anyone reads this....

    To display the slider correctly, You have to make sure that the permalink structure settings on your blog matches what you type into the general settings for the theme... that will allow the slider to show pages correctly. He is right about the two numbers.

    As for Jim, to display the buttons as links, you need a piece of code. It's all about how you type the pages. For example, you already have your image inserted through custom fields, well the buttons need to be HTML'd into the page itself. For example, go to type as if you were going to create a page, write hello world or something like that... After you are done typing the page, insert this piece of html:

    < a class="button" href="http://www.buttonlink1.com/">< span>This is button number 1 text< /span>< /a> < span class="middle">or< / span> < a class="button" href="http://www.samethinghereforbutton2.com/">< span>This is button number 2 text< / span>< /a>

    Hope this helped.

  13. A tip for everyone who uses "pretty permalinks" and wants to know the page ID:s for the slider:
    Download the plugin "Reveal IDs for WP Admin".

    Makes the IDs display like in the old WP-versions before 2.5
